「マン・オブ・スティール2」は原点回帰とマシュー・ヴォーン監督
海外で公開が迫る「キングスマン: ゴールデン・サークル」。監督のマシュー・ヴォーンは先日インタビューで「マン・オブ・スティール2」についてワーナーと話し合いがあったと語った。新たにCollider対し、自分が監督であった場合はリチャード・ドナーによる「スーパーマン」の現代版を作りたいと言い、ヴォーン監督が持っているスーパーマンのイメージを話した。
ヴォーン監督は「ドナー監督のスーパーマンは当時完璧だった」と言い、続けて「私はドナー・バージョンの現代版を作りたい。原点回帰だ。私にとってのスーパーマンはカラフルで、いい気持ちで、雄々しい。彼は暗闇の中にある希望の光さ。スーパーマンはそうあるべきだと思う。」と話した。
ヴォーン監督が「マン・オブ・スティール2」を撮ったのならば古典的なヒーロー映画になるのかもしれない。ヴォーン監督の言葉を聞き「スーパーマン」を見ようと思った人は少し待った方がいい。188分になった「スーパーマン エクステンデッド・カット」が海外で出る事が本日伝えられている。
